Over the past two years NMASS and the Beyond Ground
Zero Network have fought for health care for all affected by 9-11.
A small, but important gain was the creation of a free health
insurance program sponsored by the September 11 Fund and administered
by Safe Horizon that offers a year-and-a-half of free health insurance
and a job training program including a weekly stipend. If you
worked South of Canal you may be eligible. This is the only program
available to undocumented workers. Call NMASS to find out if you
qualify and can apply.
