Now is the time for ALL affected populations—residents, clean-up workers, downtown workers, students, as well as first responders--to come together to call for federally-funded, accessible and comprehensive 9/11 health care that responds to ALL our needs—immediate and emerging. NOW and in the long term.

Our communities have fought for and won treatment for residents and workers, clinics in our some of our neighborhoods and first-time federal funding for the WTC Environmental Health Center. But the government's efforts to deny the existence of the 9/11health fallout still threatens long-term comprehensive care.

The growing 9/11 health crisis includes our respiratory health problems, sinus, and acid reflux and psychological conditions like post-traumatic stress, depression and anxiety disorder, which are well-recognized. Yet other symptoms continue to emerge, such as skin problems, gynecological problems , vertigo, and neurological problems. Children's health problems are only now beginning to be addressed.

Join us:

  • To learn about WTC illnesses and available treatment at the WTC Environmental Health Center – at Bellevue, Gouveneur, & Elmhurst Hospitals.
  • To speak out about our existing and evolving health problems and needs.
  • To call on our government officials for full recognition of the WTC health fallout
  • To demand that our government respond to current and emerging health needs of all those affected by ensuring accessible, long term treatment that responds to the range of impacts people are experiencing.
