Latina Women Worked Up to 7 days, 84 hours/week,
for as little as $2/hour, less than one-third of minimum wage, with
no overtime pay after 40 hours and no meal breaks. They were fired
when they complained about these conditions.
What do these women want?
- They want their owed minimum and overtime wages that the employer
failed to pay
- They want meal breaks, decent treatment and at least minimum
wage and overtime pay for all workers at Kim’s Vegetables and
Dana Farms
The workers have filed a federal lawsuit. They are supported by
elected officials, community organizations, and workers from other
industries including restaurant workers from Saigon Grill, Flor
De Mayo and Ollie’s.
